When you order

You don't need an account. To cook and deliver your order we collect:

Your name and phone number.
Your delivery area and address.
Your location on the map, only if you choose to share it. We use it to find you and to work out the delivery fee for that order. It isn't saved for your next order.
What you ordered, the price and the time.
In the app, if you pay by bank transfer: the photo of your payment receipt.

When you deliver for us

Riders sign up in the app. We collect:

Your name, phone number, CNIC and bike number.
A password, which is stored by Google Firebase. We never see it.
Your location while you are online in the app, so we can offer you nearby orders, and where you are when you mark a delivery done.
Delivery photos, the deliveries you make, your earnings, and the cash you collect and hand over.

Collected automatically

A random ID that lets you track your order without an account.
Crash and error reports (device model, Android or browser version and what went wrong), so we can fix problems.
When you place an order: your internet (IP) address and phone number, scrambled so they can't be read back, to stop fake and repeated orders. They are deleted automatically after a day.
For staff and riders: a notification ID for the phone, so new orders can ring it.
On the website: your cart and the details you last used are saved in your own browser, so you don't have to type them again. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them.

We don't show ads, and the website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

To cook, deliver and charge for your order, and to contact you about it.
To show you where your order is.
To stop fake and repeated orders.
To pay riders and keep the kitchen's accounts.

We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers or look at more of it than we need to serve you.

Our kitchen staff.
The rider delivering your order, who sees your name, phone number, address and map location.
Google Firebase, which runs our website, database, logins, file storage, notifications and crash reports. Your information is stored on Google's servers, which may be outside Pakistan.
Sentry, which receives error reports from the app so we can fix problems. They hold technical details, not your order.
OpenStreetMap, which draws the small map of your pinned location at checkout. Showing the map sends that location to OpenStreetMap.
WhatsApp, if you message us there.
Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

Orders, delivery records, cash handovers and rider payouts are business records. We keep them for as long as we need them for our accounts and to settle any dispute.

A rider's login and profile are kept until the rider deletes their account or asks us to.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. WhatsApp or call us on 0323 3174738 or email proteinhousepakistan@gmail.com.

Riders can delete their account in the app.

Keeping it safe

Everything is sent over an encrypted connection. Only signed-in staff can see orders, and riders only see orders offered to them or that they are delivering.
